Manuel Francisco Pereira is since 1992 a member of the Department of Geosciences of the Évora University, currently occupying the Associate Professor with Aggregation category in the School of Sciences of Technology. The degree in Geology (1991) and the Master in Internal Geodynamics (1996) were obtained at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon. The PhD (2000) and the Aggregation (2009) were both obtained at the University of Évora and in the scientific area of Geology.
Research and interests: Geodynamics and Tectonics, Geological Mapping, Structural Geology, Stratigraphy, Petrology, Geochemistry and Geochronology
Manuel Francisco Pereira é desde 1992 membro do Departamento de Geociências da Escola de Tecnologia da Universidade de Évora ocupando actualmente a categoria de Professor Associado com Agregação. A Licenciatura em Geologia (1991) e o Mestrado em Geodinâmica Interna (1996) foram obtidos na Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa. O Doutoramento (2000) e a Agregação (2009) foram ambas obtidas na Universidade de Évora e na área científica da Geologia.
Investigação e interesses: Geodinâmica e Tectónica, Cartografia Geológica, Geologia Estrutural, Estratigrafia, Petrologia, Geoquímica e Geocronologia.
